This is one of my favorite quotes ever.

It just speaks volumes to me. And every time I meet a family that is minus one member because of a deployment this quote pops into my head.

These little ones are missing their daddy right now.

Just like my little ones will be soon.

It’s a tough journey to go on but they have an amazing mother that has gotten them through everything.

I met with this family at the park. We talked and ran around and just played.

These are some of the best looking kids I have ever seen.

The little ones are twins and are just absolutely adorable.

And the oldest is everything a 5 year old boy can be.

Seth Geko- San Diego Musician Photographer

Chris AKA Seth Geko, came to me with an amazing concept and an even more amazing location in mind.

He wanted to show everyone his dream.

I was so excited to do this shoot because it was a little out of my norm. I’m used to working with children and families. But to be able to express my creativity with

another artist was so much fun!

Mr. Liam is the cutest, cuddliest, little guy on the planet.

And I’m 100% sure of it.

I had a great time walking all around Balboa park with this family. We had a great time, shared some laughs, and got some great pictures.

Rowan- San Diego Child Photographer

Everyone meet Rowan.
This little girl stole my heart from the very beginning.

We ran around, explored, listened to our echos, she showed me her tooth she just lost, and we had a blast.

Rowan and her family reminded me why I do this. Why capturing the spirit of a child is so important to me.

Lissa McGrath - My daughter’s first experience with a professional photographer and look how fabulous the results were! Nikki is amazing as I knew she would be. I’ve loved Nikki’s photography for so long, but to see my daughter as the subject as well is just magical for me. I agree with the others-the one of her twirling is an absolute favorite and Jennifer Witt is right- it needs to be BIG and on a wall, and so it shall be! I think that is special too because it is only obvious to me that it is my little girl. To anyone else it is a beautiful piece of art. But so much more to me. The one I call “Alice in wonderland” in the woods is another favorite. And the one sideways on the tracks. Ah! So many fabulous pictures. I wonder how soon I can convince my husband to let us do it again ;)
